What is SERP?

  5. Direct Answer BoxThis feature provides a direct answer to a question. People also call this a Knowledge Card. This is very useful for users. This is because the user can find out the answer immediately after entering the question. So the user does not need to click on the page.
  6. Image PacksImage packs are search results in the form of images that appear in the SERP. Images that have good quality and have been optimized will be easy to compete in the SERP specifically for image packs.
  7. Top StoriesTop Stories displays three or more headlines in the form of the latest articles according to the keywords entered. The main news displayed is the title of the article, the name of the website, the image and when the article was released. Typically, content from media sites appears in these Google Top Stories.
  8. Video ResultsVideo results displays video content in search results. The display is a list of videos. For MV, the displayed video window is usually larger.

Why is SERP Important for SEO?

SERP is what determines the ranking of search results and how the search results will be displayed. The goal of SEO is to appear in the top rankings of search results organically. So, in implementing an SEO strategy, you need to pay attention to this. Being in the top organic rankings doesn’t mean you can get a lot of traffic.

The existence of the SERP feature can improve search without clicks. Some information is directly displayed by Google, so users don’t have to click anymore.
